Program Overview

  • The program is designed exclusively for children aged 2 to 6 years.
  • Maximum capacity: 25 children at any given time. Enrolment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A waitlist may be implemented once the program reaches capacity. Parents/guardians will be notified promptly if a spot becomes available.
  • Capacity limits are subject to adjustment based on staffing, safety regulations, or other considerations.

Child Readiness Requirements

  • All children must be fully toilet-trained before participation.
  • Staff will provide minimal assistance for accidents but are not responsible for ongoing toilet training.
  • Frequent or repeated accidents may result in a review of the child’s readiness for the program.
  • Parents/guardians are required to supply appropriate supplies (e.g., spare clothes) for accidents.

Fees and Payment

  • Weekly Fee: $240, payable on term basis.
  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer or cash.
  • Late Payment Policy: Failure to pay on time may result in the child being unable to participate until fees are settled.

Pickup and Withdrawal Policies

  • Late Pickup Fee: $5 for every 10 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time. This will be added to the following week’s payment.
  • Withdrawal Notice: A two-week written notice is required to withdraw from the program. Fees for the notice period remain payable, regardless of attendance.

Clothing and Safety Guidelines

  • Children must adhere to the program’s modest clothing policy, including wearing scarves and sunnah caps where appropriate. Shorts are not permitted.
  • Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for outdoor activities to meet safety regulations.
  • Parents/guardians must provide a complete extra set of clothing suitable for weather and program activities at the start of each week.

Bullying Policy

  • The program maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying in all forms, including physical, verbal, social, or cyberbullying.
  • Definition of Bullying: Repeated, intentional harm or intimidation that causes physical or emotional distress.
  • Reporting Bullying: Any instance must be reported immediately to staff or management. Reports will be handled confidentially.
  • Investigation and Action: All reports will be thoroughly investigated, with appropriate actions taken.
  • Parental Involvement: Parents/guardians of involved children will be informed and may be asked to assist in resolving issues.
  • Consequences: Children found engaging in bullying may face consequences, up to and including suspension or removal from the program.
  • The program is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment, promoting anti-bullying education and a culture of kindness.

Medical and Emergency Policies

  • Consent to Emergency Medical Treatment: By enrolling in the program, parents/guardians grant permission for staff to seek immediate medical assistance, including calling an ambulance, if deemed necessary.
  • Ambulance and Medical Costs: Parents/guardians are responsible for all associated fees.
  • Parents will be notified as soon as possible in the event of a medical emergency.
  • Any upfront costs incurred by the program for emergency services must be reimbursed promptly upon receiving an invoice.
  • Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date medical information and emergency contact details.

Media and Promotional Use

  • Parents/guardians may complete an optional photo and media consent form.
  • Consent allows the program to use photos/videos of children for internal purposes (e.g., website) or external purposes (e.g., promotional materials for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Consent is optional and can be revoked in writing at any time.

Program Commitment

  • Actively promoting anti-bullying education and fostering a culture of kindness and respect.
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and well-being for all participants.

Health and Hygiene

  • Illness Policy: Children showing signs of illness (e.g., cough, runny nose, fever, vomiting, contagious diseases) must not attend the program. If a child becomes ill during the program, parents/guardians will be notified and must arrange prompt pickup.
  • Exclusion Periods: Children with contagious illnesses (e.g., chickenpox, flu) must follow exclusion periods as recommended by health authorities before returning to the program.
  • Medication Administration: Staff may administer medication only if written consent and instructions are provided by the parent/guardian. Prescription medications must be in the original packaging with clear labelling.

Home-Specific Safety Rules

  • Restricted Areas: Certain areas of the home are off-limits to children (e.g., kitchen, upstairs, laundry, storage cupboard). These will be clearly communicated during enrolment process.
  • Emergency Exits: Emergency evacuation plans specific to the home setting will be explained to all children and parents.
  • Cameras: Appropriate surveillance cameras will be in operation at all times for children’s safety.

Communication and Updates

  • Weekly updates: parents will receive brief updates at the end of each week on their learning.
  • Parent-Teacher Communication: Scheduled check-ins can be arranged for parents to discuss their child’s progress or concerns.

Feedback Policy

  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to provide feedback or raise concerns regarding the program.
  • Concerns should be addressed directly with the program provider, who will work to resolve them promptly and respectfully.
  • A written process for escalating unresolved issues can be included.

Liability and Insurance

The program is not responsible for any lost personal belongings or damage during program hours.

Behaviour Management Policy

  • We will be managing challenging behaviours in a positive, respectful manner.
  • Physical discipline is strictly prohibited and parents will be informed if behavioural issues require further discussion or action.

By enrolling your child in the program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. This agreement ensures a safe, structured, and enriching experience for all participants.
